Paczki are a Polish fried doughnut. They were traditionally made before Lent to use up all of the lard, sugar, eggs, and fruit in the house in preparation for Christian fasting practices. Today in America, Polish heritage has merged with Lenten practices from other cultures, and Paczki are often celebrated on "Fat Tuesday".
Linda's Bakery will have Paczki available for a limited time only through Tuesday, February 25th. Whether you have Polish heritage or just want to indulge in a special treat, stop in to get some while they're here!
