Linda’s Bakery has been serving La Crosse County since 1973. That’s the year Linda purchased the bakery from Harold Hetland. Linda worked night and day to make her bakery into the success it has become today.
Ten years later, in 1983, Linda’s Bakery moved to their current location on Highway 16. While Linda retired in 2008, her family still owns and operates the bakery.
Currently, Linda’s Bakery has over 70 employees, some full-time, others part-time, and all essential to the business. On our busiest days, we serve over 1,000 bakery customers!

Linda’s now serves gourmet espresso coffee drinks as well as modern treats such as creme puffs and Cake Pops. Most of our recipes, however, have remained just like they were 50 years ago.
I came to Linda’s to check out their selection of bakery items and ended up buying 12 donuts, 4 cake pops and some dog treats. The lady who helped me was amazing I wish I knew her name. She was very patient, friendly, and helpful.
